Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    ecu from a prelude?

I have a 90 accord and I was doing some research and I seen that the 92-9? prelude s has a more aggressively tuned ecu. Would swapping the ecu be plug and play? Also soon I'm going to be putting on a h23 intake. What ecu should I run with it

If you are going to use the H23 IM and want functioning secondary runners get the ECU from an F22A6 Accord instead.

But if you are not going to bother about getting the butterfly valves to open and close you can use the F22 prelude ECU, but I would go with the F22A6 ECU with the H23 IM instead.

P12 ECU is what you're looking for, found on 92-95 prelude S models with the F22A1 engine.

can you "tune" the a6 ecu as well? Not to thread jack, but I've recently abandoned my plans for the H22 swap (financially not in the cards at this point) and probably not for a few years. So figured I would do the normal stuff people do to their f22's. I realize there is a TON of info on here and a search comes up with so much. But is there a good write up on basic add-on's and such?

          You cannot tune a PT6.

Also with a P12 you lose the ability to operate IAB's.

OP, a P12 is plug and play on F22A1s, but the results are not staggering.

I would not go with the P12 if you are going with the H23 IM, unless you delete the IAB plate. Get the PT6 ECU and a black box to run the IABs to get the most out of that IM if you are "streeting" the car.
