Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I'm sorry to say... you don't know what you are talking about. Please refer to my thread in the Swaps section on the F22B DOHC head swap. There is also another thread about the H23 Head Swap. Both are extremely easy and cheap to do. They also open up a wide variety of tuning options...

I've read that post before and it looks good. IMHO I would still go for beefing up the stock head instead of swapping. Plus the avaliability of the of the f22b head is slim to none. Also I did say I can kinda understand the swapping of a DOHC head but it was trouble. Trouble as in where are you going to find it, is it any good, blah blah blah. I'm all for custom projects seriously, I was one of the first if not the first to do the DSM turbo setup on my car so I hear what your saying. I'd still go for beefing up the stock head though

wtf have u been mang? finally desided to join up on here?? take j00 ass back to HMT.. lol.. i kidd i kidd.. and yeah.. Jd1.. is kinda the pioneer if not one of them to start the dsm craze.. i remember ppl going nuts cause he connected his stock exhaust to the dsm o2 housing.. lol.. bolted up no welding.. meh.. anyway.. headswaps rule..

sure beefing up the stock head would probably cost around the same.. but.. the tuneability of dohc and the cfm capacity is better than a sohc

That was the initial reason. It just got to cold outside to really do anything to the car without being miserable. I've had the new turbo for a while and will be doing the install in a little bit. I ditched the hack too so I need to get off my ass and get the ecu so I can get it chipped. Going front mount too.

accord r33: I wasn't implying that the dsm setup doesn't work because i have seen the dyno charts from a couple of people and i am going to try to get a kit from you once i get the money.

i was just saying that he could buy an off-the-shelf kit that is brand new if he wanted to go with the vtec head swap.

i wansn't sure if you included a manifold for the vtec head in your kit is the only reason that i put that in there.
