I was thinking ....is it worth spending the money for a h22 skunk2 manifold and then getting the adapter kit that they sell for the h23?...... Right now im currently on iab double stacks ... and just wondering if this will be worth it?

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

IMHO absolutely, theres no way the stock manifolds can outflow the S2. It's a shame this mod isn't done more often, but then again people are just being cheap. If you port it and portmatch the throttle body there are some serious gains to be had over the H23 IM. Maybe you can popularize it in the community. Good Luck.'94 JDM H22A: 178whp 146wtq

While you should make a different thread for a different topic, phearable is a good guy. He's local to me. I'm running one of his chipped P28s right now. But don't run your car on his basemaps. The basemap is designed to get you to the shop, so you can get dynoed. I think even Vega himself says this on his site.'94 JDM H22A: 178whp 146wtq

It is advised to not drive around on a basemap. However the way i look at it is, i am running an h22 with bolt ons, cant be hard to makw a good basemap for that. Ive been driving around on it for over a year now with no issues.1991 Accord Ex - H22A - Omnipower Coilovers - Greddy SP2

I'm closer to him than most people on this board. I realize there may be people who are closer.
I resent that remark about it not being too hard to make a basemap however, if that were the case you'd be making your own wouldn't you? I admit John is very damn good at what he does, and over time he probably has pretty "Safe" calibrations. But still, a basemap is a basemap, get it on the dyno, that's what it's for. You're really holding back the performance of your car with a basemap, as I'm sure he's trying to make sure it doesn't blow up, by designing something overly aggressive.

Or, what I think might be the best manifold out there, but even more expensive than the EuroR, the Golden Eagle Manifold no adapter required!Last edited by Joey GT-R; 03-04-2012, 03:12 PM.'94 JDM H22A: 178whp 146wtq

Clearance issues or no...it should still fit. If worst comes to worst, take the head off and attach it like that. You'd just have to inconveniently do a new headgasket and timing belt. But I doubt it will get that bad. The adapter isn't even a quarter of an inch right? I think I got a good 2 inches clearance with my H22 under the hood.'94 JDM H22A: 178whp 146wtq
