Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Is that all I need to get started on neptune, minus a wideband?
if you already have the ecu, yes. the demon will come with a chip kit as well since it takes a special socket.

and btw, i sell them cheaper than pretty much anyone. Mostly because im not a shop and i like helping people out.

Its a shame you aren't closer, it would be nice to talk in person and actually get to see the program in use before commiting.

I'm running a p28 on a crome basemap at the moment. The demon requires a different socket then a 28pin eeprom?

A good wideband kit from www.innovatemotorsports.com like the MTX-L will run you $200.

Is anyone interested in this being accomplished or no?

The accord will most likely be pulled off the road for me to do whatever I can imagine to it.
Would love to sell the 17s and buy a pair of slicks/drs to begin with haha.

It's your car... so if you're not interested, nobody else will be. So far, you've been talking about it since October.

Your 60's are already good for 205 street tires. Is it spinning a lot? You could try some 225's or even 225/50/15 drag radials.

Cut a 1.7x on slicks and pull the headlight and make a ram air setup for the air filter and you would probably already hit your goal.

I'd focus on a good tune, maybe heat wrap the exhaust and throw some bags of ice on the intake manifold between runs? Anything could help, or just run some nitrous like others said and be done. how high are you reving the motor to?

back then i had no trunk, no back seat, ac, ps, cruise, evap, egr a few other things i cant remember .

now all i have is bare essentials. still have the dash but there is nothing under it, no abs, removed 35lbs of wiring, 5 gallon fuel cell...etc
when i took out all my interior it was about 150lbs of stuff. kept the good stuff like power locks and a/c etc.

TBH bro you cant do it. you just cant. if you do it it will be a miracle and you should call bisimoto on your accomplishment because its impossible by physics.

Im intrested in seeing how fast it can go but not really picturing the little (should i say big) accord pulling off a 13 sec run.

Nope no spin at all, i think it would turn a 2.1 but i didnt wanna try any harder in fear of an axle going pop, they were on their way out. Motor is going to about 7500.

Fellas, bear in mind that 14.6 was with quite a few parts that were in subpar condition and a f22 tb.
Ill also have smaller tires along with a lighter set of wheels.
The "saying" is every .1 off your 60ft is equal to .2 off of your et. If that stays true, if i can turn a 2.0 60ft, thats knocking .4 off, down to a 14.2. I think its feasible to see ~.2 from a larger tb, header without smashed pipes, 2.5 inch collector and getting rid of the turbulent gutted cat.

As well as the gearing down going from a 23.7 inch tire to a 22.

No hurry. My car has been broken for over 3 years now!

I just asked in my last post in response to your comment that I quoted. It sounded like you were saying "If nobody is interested, why am I doing this?"

Well, lets face it. Attention be it negative or positive will push me harder to accomplish this.

Ive decided the ac stuff will be coming out of the car. Will i do it to reach this goal? Doubtful.
