Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    intake manifolds

you all know that if you wanna get easy horse power out of an f22 you put and h23 IM on instead of stock f22, so is there an intake manifold that i could put on an h23 to get the same effect or is it aftermarket im after?

so if in theory putting an h23 IM on an f22 would work, then surely this skunk pro series IM would work on an f22 correct??

yes. but they preform better on a highly modded engine. on a stock F you mite lose more than you gain.

i think the issue with these is the fire wall clearance.they do look rather long.

Also with that skunk 2 intake, your really only going to gain on the very tippy top of your power band. Over at honda-tech, they seem to lose a bit of power and grunt down low and in the mid range RPM's.. but produce up top ( 7k and onward ) in my opinion... not worth it.

The Skunk2 Manifold will only fit the H22.

The ugly ass OBX manifold is the only aftermarket unit for the H23/F22. Modded H23 IM is as good as it gets

if you took the time to read the thread, you'd seen the link for the Adaptor plate

Another option I've heard about is using a Euro-R Accord manifold. Probly would need the adaptor plate with that one too.

Ding ding, we have this prob with obx intake mani on f22 in a cb.

Sidewall clearance, yes it will work with light modification, but also I read something about the holes not all match up or something.

Keep an eye on HMotorsOnline, I see them with used Euro-Rs for sale every now and again.
