From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

good luck bro, ive yet to find one...ive simply given up. I had a source, but it was very pricey, i think 250 bux for it. If u can't find it from where u got ur engine, then I dont know where else to check. The motor should run fine with the PT6 for the mean time, which is what im doing.

yeah the motor runs with no problems on my A4 ECU... do you think it would make a difference if i used a ECU from a A6 motor or a H23 motor maybe?

will the 75 be too lean, since its a 1.8 and not a 2.0?

maybe , but you have the choice to use a programable chip , i have a friend that used a p75 in his h23a , and now he is using it in his h22a since his p28 fired up , anyway comparing a 2.0 and a 1.8 it isnt such a long way to run besides a naturally aspirated works better lean

Don't use a p75 unless it's chipped and there's an engine specific program on the chip...

I'm still trying though guys... I had a really good source that was supposed to get 2-4 PT2's along with a bunch of other good stuff... but he just disappeared one day awhile back... I hope the Tsunami didn't get him...

Anyways... I might be able to get one or 2... but don't PM me... I'll post it/them up in the classifieds if I do... and I will only charge what I paid for it/them + shipping...

but keep in mind I had a hell of a time getting one myself...esp for under $100... it took the better part of 6-8 months... in the meantime if you want a decent alternative just run a P39 F22B DOHC ECU which is way easier to get...

it's decent but not as seamless as the PT2...

Does it matter if its an ECU from an auto or 5 speed?

I'd sell you mine but I keep it for a backup... I could probably get another for around $50ish...

                      It doesn't matter...

I beleive all PT2's are auto anyways... I know mine is and I have no problems whatsoever...

the only thing I've noticed is that I have yet to hit the fuel cut even up past 7k where I expected it to be...
