Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Haven't seen this link before, thanks. However, I checked back on that guy's home page for his car. He basically gained 16 WHP and 10 WTQ with basic mods (stock exhaust), untuned as well. He was also running a 13 deg ignition timing (retarded 2 deg) because of his nitrous setup and was running rich. If he leaned out his fuel map some, advanced his ignition timing (perhaps 2 deg advance) and if need be, played with his cam timing, he would obviously gain more. Overall, these gains were not too bad in my opinion regarding all this.

                  I can't wait...

After looking around a bit...perhaps the Crower Stage 1's are regrinds, but I have not confirmed this yet. In that link you posted before, I noticed no mention of valvetrain upgrades, that to me is a good sign of a regrind. If it were a billet cam, most likely higher lift and a recommended valvetrain upgrade to go with it. Although, they do weld-ups on core cams as well so

ive pretty much decided against webcams regrind because my buddies exhaust cam broke in half the other day, my guess is that when they welded on the cams that they didnt stress test them correctly for how much heat was applied to them in turn making them weak as hell

Did he install them correctly? He torque down the cam holders evenly? What type of cylinder head was this on?
