Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

the reason why you've never heard about it is because
    vtec super kicking is ILLEGAL
if the police find out that he's doing this, he will be arrested in the spot

the reason why super kicking is illegal, it fools the human vision in tunnel vision, making the mind think your going uber fast

        Haha, seriously? This is beautiful.

And this "super VTEC" you speak of, I think he may have more aggressive cams, making the crossover more distinct.

        Perhaps I'm wrong?

just run the vtec wire straight to the battery, im sure that is what the guy was talking about - "straight vtec hookup"

              has been done numerous times...
it's called vtec on-off switch bypass,

so basically you will always have vtec. as soon as you step on the gas pedal vtec kicks in hard! you don't have to wait until you reach 5000rpm

it won't damage anything, I've been running the bypass mod for a year and no problems

No kidding? Interesting. I had no clue... so, since VTEC would always be engaged, wouldn't it also be engaged at idle?

You can't connect vtec straight to the battery and drive like that. I was just kidding because this thread is ridiculous.

okay so im a member for mnhondas.com and was wondering if this is true:

it sounds like just wiring the solenoid on full time.
That will cause some issues (there's a reason why it's advised not to kick it on below 2k), but could be done very easily.

I think he's talking about hooking the solenoid to the abs system. If you can hit the brake pedal hard enough to engage the abs then dump the clutch with the gas pedal down it will force vtak to kick in hard and make your hps and torks go way up.

I have my vtak hooked up to the brake pedal to trick people behind me.

how the hell do you do something like this.....also if you can do this to the abs can you do it to the gas pedal???....
