Yeah no prob man, I like my exhaust a little louder than most people but if I try to get rid of the rasp it usually gets quieter. lol

sounds close to oem besides my resonator is a little close to the frame. so i get some vibration and humming up intill 2k rpm. 3k and above is a sporty grawl. if i get time i'll do a drive by vid.

if you want quiet. this is the way to go.

It sounds pretty quiet when your cruising. When you get on it, it sounds deep and not ricey at all.

Is this just the muffler and pipe?

Okay so I'm in California and laws here are very strict. And I want to know whats a good I/H/E is carb legal. I have a f22a1 with an eBay short ram. Stock headers to muffler.

For CARB acceptance you'll need an AEM intake (is K&N legal? probably...) and DC Sports exhaust.

My setup:
JDM H22 (I'm sure this makes a difference in sound over the F!)
Spoon header primaries
OEM JDM downpipe
Stock cat
No resonator (suprisingly almost no rasp still)
Magnaflow muffler
All of it stock 2" from the cat to the muffler tip

My only videos are from back when I had my F22 with all of the above save the header. It's pretty normal sounding at idle and cruise, but gets a bit louder and deeper a WOT. I quite enjoy the sound, and it has gotten a few compliments. I'm going for a full 2.5" mandrel system next year, topped off with a Logic header and terminated with a low-key Vibrant muffler.

What happens when you're really on it and the exhaust is trying to fight direct head winds?

With the exception of having a cat and being .5" smaller, my next system will be almost an exact replica of this. Is 3" very loud with that muffler/resonator combo?
