Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

So how did you manage your new numbers? What changes were made?

i tapered the h23 tb form 70 to 60.. and ported all the intake manifold like ciscos and upped my exhaust to 2 3/4 and cut out everything but the straight through apexi n1 muffler. it was shoting a 4 foot flame out the exhaust every gear. it was hilarious. i changed spark plugs from ngk platinums to denso capasitor plugs. and went external coil rather then internal.

Try some NGK 4091's. Maybe even 4554's but you'd have to know how to read them to know which ones your motor wants.

            Anyways, 70 to 60? That's a HUGE taper....you sure that's right?

Post your dyno sheet or I'm calling bs on this entire shebang.

This was all tuned by The Shop Inc in lincoln NE. My first session was on 87 octane gas that was in there from the previous engine. All pulls were done on a mustang dyno.

                Results:

                182whp (about 248hp to crank)
                174wtq (about 224tq to crank)

It is currently back at the dyno with 93 octane gas, and then will be tuned on 113 octane gas.

I will keep you all posted.

Thanks for taking the time to read, if you have any questions let me know!
If i were u i would try and custom dc 2 inch downpipe primaries and 2.5 inch collector and see how that goes.

                Any 1/4 mile passes yet.

Unless I'm mistaken dude has a 3" exhaust... he should do a 3" collector w/2.5" collectors, 2 times 2" pipe <<<< 3" pipe area wise

                    Build is exciting

I don't wanna piss on your parade, but why the hell would go with 10.5:1 pistons instead of 12:1? 12:1 is just fine for pump gas. I would not pay that much for forged slug only to increase compression to 10.5:1. Waste of money IMO.

12:1 on pump gas? doubt it. not on the shitty 91 we have around here.

You guys only get 91 in Cali? That's weird. Either way, it's more than doable. Lodollar is doing 500whp on 91.

the reason i only went 10.5-1 is because i am going to boost it in the future and haveing that compression will give me the response i want to spool the turbo.. there is a method behind the madness trust me
