Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    H22 head on F22A1 block?

Want to build a frank motor and was curious if the H22 head would work on the F22 block. The F22 has steel cylinder walls so i wanted to put a set of forged pistons and rods to bring the compression up to the H22 motor specs....will this work or would it be a waste of time?....also considering going turbo if the H22 head will work.

    yes it works.

why would you raise CR if you are going to boost?

there are many threads on G22/G23 VTEC swaps aka F block with H22 head. I believe there is a thread just recently in the swaps forum, or the performance forum.

Hola, tengo tres patas. Me llamo tripod.

Well originally i was gonna go N/A but i was just curious if it would even work and if it would i wouldn't have a reason to go boosted unless i got tired of not having enough power lol.

The G23/G22 is pointless in my opinion, because for such a high performance application, the F22A head flows better than the H22 head as far as I know, so you may as well build an entire F22A...unless you just have to have vtec lol.
