Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

How that must bave been alot of hp and torque to tear the tranny up into 2 pieces. If you have the money just throw a quaife lsd in there and send it off to gearspeed.

Or just send it to them for the works on the type two build with carbon coated synchros and l.s.d on it and you should be straight with lifetime warrantee.

Actually, the Gearspeed type II trannys do not have any warranty of any kind. However, if it does break due to manufacturer defect or a problem related to their rebuild, they WILL stand behind their product. If it has been raced (and they would be able to tell if it has or not), all bets are off.

Not to say that they are not good transmissions, because they are the best tranny I have ever used! I have a Gearspeed built H2U5 (Accord EX tranny) with a Quaiffe LSD and a Prelude final drive bolted to my H22 and I absolutely LOVE it! So far it has been probably the best investment I have made in my car. If you have the money, go with Gearspeed! Now, the Quaiffe LSD DOES have a limited lifetime warranty.

i think thats what im going to do in the long run, but for now imma just run a h23 tranny and use the f22 syncros. that should hold up for now
