Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

P72 won't do anything for your application, if it runs your car at all.

Btw, there is NO selling outside of the classifieds.

Look on ebay, or in the classifieds... Don't ask how much people are selling things for here. That would be the beginning of a transaction, and that would result in you and other valued members being banned from this site. We take this very seriously.

Any ECU that isn't designed for your engine will not work properly. ESPECIALLY an ECU that's designed for a 1.8L VTEC engine. Will it run your F22? Probably... but it may do damage as well.

To use any ECU other than a PT3, PT6, or P12 (all designed for the F22A engines), you'll need to chip and tune... something that costs a good deal of money to have done, and something that takes a lot of knowledge and tools to do properly.

On a stock or near-stock F22A, there's no real benefit to even touching the ECU. Tossing in a P12 on an F22A1, or a PT6 and the F22A6 parts to make an F22A1 into an A6 are the only worthwhile things you can do. The MINIMUM mods that you should have done when considering a custom ECU would be intake, header, exhaust, and a camshaft upgrade... if you don't at least have that much, there's no point.
