civic ecu

Hey, i'm looking into boosting my 93 lx and was thinking about running a civic ecu because my buddy just purchased a chip burner but can only burn maps on a chip that is compatible with a civic ecu. I was wondering if the civic ecu plugs up with the stock accord plugs or if there was any modification. I'm pretty sure we can download the accord fuel map and burn it to the civic ecu chip. I am just wondering if it is any trouble at all to run the civic ecu in our cars.

I don't think the harness will match up. On a civic it's diffrent then our accords...

yea you should be able to run a civic ecu all the plugs are the same.

definately a plug and play ecu on the hardware side as long as its obd1. As for finding a stock accord map...we're all looking for that. I've even tried calling companies and persuading them to give me the stock basemap...of course they say no but its worth a shot right lol

come on man keep us updated. and my major concern is how is the wheel hop, ive been stewing over that for a week or so now how to fabrikate a bracket and use lower strut bushings connect to the front crossmember.like use a flat peice of metal, connect to where the front mount use to be, then weld the two lower strut bushings on the crossmember and use two peice of steel to connect.just an idea havent really seen a boosted accord to size things up on.good luck man, i also wish i had a girl that liked cars as much as i did.*sigh*shes a keeper.

WoOoOoOoO!!! I'm finished and got to hear the bov pop off finally. I'll be heavily tuning the car for the next couple of days to weeks. I've got the idle down packed and need to tune for partial throttle and WOT. Lemme know if anyone needs a basemap b4 i'm done tuning. The car managed to make an errand to wal-mart a mile away without dying lol...but on the way back it back-fired so hard it lite up the night sky lmao...it was great

so, wut fuel management setup are you runnin? safc? I plan on using safc, with 8 psi of boost...U mind sharing some fuel maps with me? I gotta get my setup all put together, and I am trying to get that aspect of it sorted out..
