From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Increased oil capacity?

I was wondering, on my turbo setup I'll also be running an oil cooler, will I need to add in an extra half a quart or so to compensate?

find out. IT doesnt hurt to add to the limit, prime the system, let it settle, then check.

Ya, I figured it would nice to run but since I'm starting my turbo install already I don't feel like adding the oil cooler, but I may run one later. They're not exactly expensive anyways.

I purchased an oil cooler for my turbo setup with the intention of reducing the engine heat.

My f22 takes 5.5 quarts, thanks to Moroso and their super nice aluminum oilpan. Its for H22, H23, and F22. The oildrain fitting is in a nice place...it has a flapper door oil trap, and it has port for oil temp sensor... Fitment was not the greatest.. a few nuts had to be grinded down to fit near the flywheel... but its a great pan...The extra oil capacity helps keep the oil a lot cooler. I never ran oil oilcooler but wouldnt mind a thermostatic one...
