Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    fixed brakes = go faster...

    naw.... my car was wrecked... and blown to bits... and it was worth every penny, and minute!

          Don't be going out with your brakes in this shape and getting ballsy. Seriously, too nice of a project to see photos of it meeting a tree or phone pole. You're almost there, don't half a$$ sh*t now. Brake master cylinder replacement is cake, get it done.

            already done awhile ago. Car is at 14psi now, pulls damn good heh no idea on whp tho gonna dyno it in a couple of weeks. Vids comming soon!

              No vids for awhile looks like rain is in the forecast for the next 7 days lol. Im also having a bit of trouble maintaining the AFRs under 11.5. If i punch it from dead stop and keep going through all gears its fine, its under 11.5 past 3psi. But if im cruising on the highway and shift to 3rd and punch it, it seems to hang around 11.7 and as high as 12.4 which is dangerous, so its goin back for a bit of a touch up on the tune as soon as the weather is nicer.

                whats the low end like?? Is it like super slow stock f22 style until the turbo builds pressure? or is it decent?

                  how much boost are you running when it goes into the 12's?

                  I've gone as lean as 12.5 at 4psi without any detonation.

                    Im running 14 psi at around 5000 rpm, i dont hear any detonation....

                    1st gear is quick as hell, even from dead stop, if you are cruising on the highway in 4th it takes some time to build it up, but if u shift to 3rd and punch it it goes. I mean its def quicker than stock thru all gears and ranges.

                      Get that turbo tuned asap!!!!! Probably the #1 reason for boosted engines blowing is because of a bad tune. GOOD tuning=cheapest insurance you can buy for a boosted engine!!

                        The car IS tuned by a pro, there is just something a little off, he is gonna double check everything and touch up the tune in a week. Im also burning more oil than i should be, so im currently not driving and tryin to figure that problem out.

                            2500kms on new motor, 1000 kms at 7psi 500 kms on 15 psi.
