Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Its actually about price and availability. H22 Rods are more common. And since they dont make off the shelf wiseco pistons for our engines we have to go custom pistons. So When you order the custom pistons you tell them what you want and its the same price. If you want stock rod location they will do it, if you want modify location they will do it at the same price.

ALEX! Why didn't you call me...you know i've taken my engine out like 3 times! Mines going pretty good right now, minus the vacuum leak somewhere...and headgasket leak...all will be fixed as soon as my ordered 16g gets in...then it's:
New head gasket, new turbo, new IM seals, and DYNO. I sorta wanna take it on the dyno first as a baseline with the 14b.

Keep me posted and email me as i'm not on MSN much anymore. If you need any help let me know...i'll be pretty cheap labour (maybe dinner and a few drinks while we work).

        Later,
        Mark

When you got your engine, what all stuff did you replace? I've seen the mod list but what about gaskets, ect?
