Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Turbos? from a junkyard?

    hi all.. I am going to a junkyard, and I wanted to know if I could source any turbo parts off of a donor car, or from other cars, like the talon tsi or sumthin..would this work for our cars? also, what must I do to prep the f22a6 I currently run? new internals? cams? what boost can I run safely, and where can I get a turbo..since, I know no turbo kit is made for our cars..knowing this, what parts do I need? Where can I find them..? Thanks..

      are they as good as the clean, shiny polished ones? Also, what output are we looking at? I wanna know what turbo stuff I need to get, and what parts to source, to make whatever turbo setup i get fit for my car..
