Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

yes. thats where the boost is created, so the closer to the source, the more accurate the reading to the wastegate

Do not use the fpr vacuum line for your bov or boost gauge. You want your fpr to have it own dedicated vacuum line so you don't starve your motor of fuel. For h22 users, look on the back of the intake manifold you'll find a vacuum source going to your IAB. For your boost gauge you may have a few vacuum nipples on the right side of the intake manifold as well, thats where I have my boost gauge connected. For the f22 DX LX owners you can use the vacuum line going to your cruise control(nipple above the fpr vacuum line, also for the EX owners), or use the nipple on the back driverside of the intake manifold thats used for engine mount control solenoid valve(A/T user) it may be capped off if you have a five speed. For the f22 ex model there are 2 nipples on the back of the intake driverside that you can use. 1 goes to your IAB the other to the engine mount control solenoid valve(AT only). And like everyone else said your wastegate line should be comming off your compressor side of your turbo. If you don't have a vacuum source on the turbo, just drill and tap and a nipple to it or have a mechanic do that for you. hope that helps.
