Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    search please sir.
and if you run without a tune, youre screwed, detonation will occur and your engine will go boom to answer your question.

being in the forced induction section, i think its safe to assume hes talking about a turbo engine.

just dont get on it and youll be alright...just try not to hit any positive manifold pressure till you tune.

If ur really scared and thats understandable then take off on of the easier IC pipes to get off and on (usually around the BOV) and put on an air filter and run it over to the shop n/a...still without getting on it. Other than that just don't boost it as mentioned above.

for the 3rd time, dont do it.
its possible to leave the wastegate open so that you never see boost hitting the engine, but its still sketchy. tow it there or do that, but i wouldnt do either. do you have a chipped ecu yet? you do know you cant just tune a pt3 or a pt6.
