Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

For half the price, I'll take my chances. The B/D series guys have had no complaints other than the axle removal problem, which has been addressed. I believe dutchaccord used one with no problems as well. For half the price of a Quaife, it's worth it.

The traction bar was ordered b.c 1. I didn't want to miss out AGAIN and 2. It'll be helpful because my power level will not stay low for much longer.

I had a 4bidden shifter in my 5g Accord and didn't care all that much for it. It's just more opportunities for a mis-shift on the track.

a mis-shift with that shifter thats on you i know i never had that problem happen to me. 5thgens are heavy anyway so theres no point. and as for the saying of half the price theres a reason why its half the price anyway do you. I got other plans

I agree it's a great shifter. I just chose not to go with one on this set-up, and really don't have much intention too, thanks for the ideas though.

Why not? Because I'm not interested in a short shifter. Not every vehicle needs one, I can shift plenty well with the stocker and not drop out of boost quickly.

no i havent. but you could have pm'd me for that. I'll delte this post later, and you should prolly delete your post as well.

but what I really meant was it was about time an f22 turbo'd with a dsm setup got good times.

but 13.5 is not all that great for the power he is putting down and the amount of work done to his car. there is def room for driving improvement.

If I don't get a 13.5-14.8 by the end of November, I'll be pissed.

LoDollar's car is mean, but is it moderately tuned because it should be making some better times.

agreed, however, Dutchaccord has had sucess with his, stating that he would get another one in the future, and other than the people on H-T who had the axle issues (only present on B/D models) everyone who used it was happy with it.

Im not going to argue this anymore, because I know you will never agree with me.

Thanks Bjaccord. I wouldn't call it "budget" but it's not "baller", haha! I'd love to hear your results and/or a writeup with the OBX. It may be one of my winter purchases and projects.

Going from a bolt-on H Accord to this is night and day. Anyone debating the two MUST drive a turbo F first.

Haha about the innards of the transmission. I've got a buddy that can hopefully take care of it for me. Some things I'll leave to pro's, haha! I'd LOVE to get 12's with open diff and slicks, it may still be possible if I don't get the diff over the winter. There's a few more track nights before the seasons out and I'm HOPEFULLY installing my cylinder head friday/saturday and then retuning. 13's should be a piece of cake on the power alone.
