Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    boosted H

how much boost can you run on a semi built h22a block? i have eagle rods and mahle pistons...i would like to run maybe 10-11 psi...

    #2
You can run 1000+ PSI yO!

But seriously, have you read up on the recent "how-much-psi-can-a _____ <---insert engine of choice threads?"

And you should be more concerned on the hp the engine can take and not the boost level.

with forged rods and pistions 10-11 should be fine

w/ h22s sleeves seem to more the problem

and the high compression ....but what compression are the pistons rated at?

                1. search honda tech or go to advanced search..type in h22* turbo..then select forced induction as the forum to search...then slap yourself for being lazy
2.this is the MOST discussed question on every honda forum and you deserve to get flamed for asking it...and yes DO 6 hours of research..many on here have done almost a year to 6 years of research..others months.,.if your not willing to search for a simpole question..dont boost...you are not ready,..especially when you ask one such as this..research research research

here ill even spoon feed you links

stop being a dick. you want answers, and youre flaming people who have actually put thought and research into their cars. go back to the beginner forum if youre going to ask questions that have been answered already just because you 'dont feel like searching for 6 hours'. and i guess going to college and working full time doenst count as a life just because i happen to enjoy modifying my honda, huh? if youre too lazy to actually do the work and search, then good luck maintaining a turbo setup.... assuming it even happens... which doesnt look promising by the content of this thread.

if you want precise answers, dont ask vague one line questions. you will be fine running ~10psi on a good tune....even at 10.1 compression ratios. i know theres atleast 3 or 4 people on here with boosted h's who havent had many problems yet. i wouldnt be worried about building the block until you know what youre doing tuning wise. without a good tune, you can dump all the money you want into it and still blow it up.

Take that statement seperate from the rest of your paragraph and thats your answer accord93racer.

Many people have researched innumerable hours to gain the knowledge they have, why would we spoon feed it to you? You have to work for what you want
