From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    maximum psi on unbuilt f22a6

a friend asked me what is the most psi you can put on the f22a6 in good condition without destroying your engine or rebuilding the bottom end

im guessing 12 psi .... and have it running as an everyday driver...

the reason he is aking me.. is he is doing a 1jz-gte swap into his lexus and told me his motor can take 15 psi without being rebuilt i guess he was just comparing motors

      you can run 50psi.

its not about how much you can run, its about how long you can make it last.

He said running as an everyday driver. 50 wont last as a daily driver!

you cant compare an f22aX to a 1jz-GTE. the latter was designed for forced induction, hence it will always be more "reliable" than the f22a (stock for stock)

that 1jz can get atleast 600 out of that stoc bottom end. with is its more like 250 11-12 psi efficiently tuned pending on the condition on how well its been kept up with the maintenance tops without breaking something

Depends on turbo size on the 1jz and the setup of the motor. Ive seen people boost 10psi daily. There are some people running 12 I think on here also.

depending on the mileage of the motor and how well it is tuned I would not exceed 8 psi for a daily driver. 10 psi is pushing it and 12 psi will just cause failure.

Im sure the same amount as a f22a1 that goes for f22b1 too! With a good tune Im sure you can roll 10 psi daily.

Turbo size + turbo parts? That might help narrow down otherwise its everyone's guess.

I was getting around easily on a T3/4 at 10psi. The 18psi spikes at the track on the other hand.....(see sig )
