Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    14.8 @ 99.75mph

    92 Accord 4dr DX
Factory suspension, 205/75R14 all season tires @ 18psi
    Stage 4 clutch, 12lb flywheel
EVOIII Big 16g, tuned on Crome
    Tuned on 8-9psi

First run ever, I ran a 15.5 and smoked an LS integra with bolt-on's 3/4 of the way down the track. Lowered tire pressure and ran an 06 Mustang GT and smoked him the whole way with a 14.8 @ 99.75mph. My 60ft was a pathetic 2.6 but that's because of my sweet suspension and tire setup. Those trap speeds are easily good for a low 14, high 13 second run...so suspension/brakes/tires are next on the list.

I'm happy with the time, especially beating a brand new GT and while tons and tons of people were laughing in the stands, my friend was a witness to a few people joking on my car on the run I smoked the Mustang.

Also, I was running on 17psi before this, yes 17...long story, and thought the motor was toasted 3 days before. It runs great now idles better than stock even with a .032 plug gap.

dude i did a 2.19 60ft on 195/65/15 all season tires with a similar setup as yours. i think you need to practice launching a little. because those first 60 feet are the most important part of the strip

Well, like I said, this is the first a. dragging a turbo car, b. dragging this car, and c. dragging a stock suspension car. Yes I could get the 60ft down, but these tires are seriously HUGE. Plus I only ran 2 runs, so I didn't get much chance to improve.

well normally wider tires are considered better man, right now i put 225 wide goodyear f1s on my car to help out with traction.

damn, your times can def improve with a better launch. this is the first time im impressed with a dsm setup on a stock f22a.

i havent seen any dsm setups break out of the 15's.
