Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Right size turbo?

This turbo come in a kit so I don't know if it a good match for the stock H22 block.

    T3/T4 TO4E super
    SPECS:
    .57 COMPRESSOR WHEEL TRIM
    .50 A/R COMPRESSOR
    .63 A/R TURBINE
    STAGE III WHEEL
    3" INLET DIAMETER
    2" OUTLET

THIS TURBO CAN EASILY DO 25 psi 530whp

I was told that turbo start to spool at 3krpm and hit full boost at 4500rpm, is that too big for street driving? that mean I can't rev it up in neutral to get the blow off valve to go off(hehe to show off), was able to in my smaller T28.

Sure, I did not know if you just wanted the turbo or the whole kit, but the brand is debatable and best to have it check out to be sure. but the price is good $225, then again you get what you pay. ANy how here is the link T3/T4 I just have it on my car over a week and it being dyno tune by the shop, so I can't really say if it will last but I did have the shop check the turbo and they say everything seem well. Time will tell...

that is a cheap POS turbo. stay away from ssautochrome and xspower turbos.
my buddy bought a 16g by those guys and the shaft broke in half after two weeks of using it.
the size of it tho is not what i would use on a h22, which is a higher revving engine. the .50a/r compressor is gonna run outta steam way before redline.
a .60/.63, .60 a/r compressor, and .63 a/r turbine, respectively, would be my idea choice for a street car. it will be at full boost before 4000, and still have decent power in the higher rev ranges.
and yea, u should still be able to blow off in neutral to show off, lol

np bro.. I thought I read the turbo spec wrong where the A/R for the hot side was bigger then the compresor, I thought it was swap you know wrong typo on ebay wher e the hot side/cold side was swap. Too bad it seem the spec is correct what a crazy A/R setup, no wonder even reving it to 5k in neutral I can't generate enough exhaust pressure to even make the BOV go off. darn this is 1 time I wish the seller did make a typo on this hot side/cold side spec .50 A/R hotside would spool up much faster and .63AR coldside would flow more boost.
