Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Highly Dissappointed....

So.. im sitting here... showing someone what a Catch-Can setup looks like on a turbo car (using CB7s ) as examples... and.. what it does.. why its there... ect ect...

    and guess what i found...

A-LACK-THERE-OF catch can setups on turbo cb7s.. most of u boosted guys HAPPILY are PRESSURIZING THE CRANKCASE.. im in disbelief.. i may have overlooked this when i first saw the turbo thread.. lookin at all the cool setups.. but now that i look back.. ALMOST EVERY setup still has the PCV connected to the intake manifold.. now correct me if im wrong but wont the pcv not allow the air to get to the crank??? since its a one way valve.. then the question comes.. if 8-10psi.. will force it to open and pressurize the crank.. (i believe so).. which just saddens me and makes me understand why u guys are blowing them....

post pics to prove me wrong.. (Begs)

Attempted car theft. Theives did some wiring damage that caused the car to burn 2 ecus. The wiring damage still is not fully repaired.

Carlos, when I get a chance i will get an updated pic.

You don't see the can, but you see the hoses rerouted. I am kinda half-assin too, I didn't make the new intake piping. The blue hose connects there for its source of vacuum.

Well Im not sure, but now that Ive been running a catch can Im seeing why! I hadnt checked it in a few weeks and theres some murky yellowish fluid in my catch can! I dumped it out but eww! I hope my engine is aight! It could be because of cold idle my car doesnt run right, a few intake "pops" due to cold operating cond! Im just gonna let it get to above the cold line from now on and see if that helps!(fyi:im still on the first map mrx made for me (base map) over a year ago) at which point he hadnt worked out all the bugs yet! And now Ive all the tools to tune it myself so!!
