I am going turbo on my stock H22a Auto and looking for information on other cb7 member who have turbo their h22. !!!This is not I seen or I heard thread, I would like to hear and see with picture if possible from people who have done this or have it in their cb7. Please keep all useless comment asside as I would just like to know about the space/clearnce on cb7 possible 1990-91 if it make any diff.
1st universal question. Any turbo/manifold setup that keep front motor mount/AC/power steering? do you have this install on your cb7? any pic?
I have bought an SSautochrome t3/t4 turbo and manifold. No need to flame, I have as beef them up with extra welding/bracket and garret turbo internal.
The equal lenght design on this manifold and the t3/t4 turbo would require me to remove my Front engine mount and it also digging into the radiator and it fan. even with an slim line fan it still missing 3/4 inch to clear the turbo.
I have look at other log type manifold and revhard h22 turbo manifold and it generic look alike but afraid it still pushes the turbo out too much and hit the fan/radiator.Maybe the Prelude H22 engine bay has more clearance then in our cb7. here is the SSautochrome pic and a few other log type.
