From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

              A friend of mine said go for a gt35r and build the motor but that shit is way expensive. What do you recommend sparkle?

                lol, he just doesnt like the dsm route much.

                you can get a much better kit for the same price or even less. If you wait and look around, you can find a pretty decent t3 that will give you tons more power than any 14b or 16g will give.

                  yeah. if the setup doesnt cost $2342234, its no good

                  the only problem with buying a t3 is that it doesnt bolt to the DSM manifold. so you need a custom/different manifold. which can get pricey for some people

                    adapters are only $45 from the dsm flange to the t3 tho.

                        Ot question i think i will make this all my rondom turbo questions that i cant find through searching.

                        Does anyone know the differences between the blue top injectors(1g i think) and the black top injectors(2g)? Because on ebay the blue top are selling really well then ill see some from a 96 gsx (blacktop) go for really cheap and almost no one bids on them. Is there any reason for this because i would like to make the right decision.

                          eh, i wouldnt trust the injectors on ebay unless they are uber cheap b/c then you can get them cleaned and thne flow tested for not much.

                          but yea, if the black tops are truly 450cc, then there is no difference, none that I know of yet. We will be using the blacktops for juans project.

                            Would you happen to know how much cleaning and all that stuff would be. These injectors i have been watching for a few days look like alittle work will be needed to be put into them. I dunno if its worth it depending on how much everything costs.
