Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

eh, think about it this way. You have to put a connector over that and then a hose clamp right? Well the material isn't so tough and its really easy to make it collapse by just tightening down the hose clamps a little too tight. I just think its flawed. The material is very thin and its ability to hold pressure is questionable. Thats just my logic tho, i'm sure others feel differently. The most i'd use that for would be a dumptube.

well you could use the flex tubing for a downpipe, but its not high qual, good for finding exactly the bends then just take it to muff shop and get them to make you a real one! My friend had 72 satellite with a 440, uhg uhg ugh, anyway he used them after the 2.5" collectors from his headers, lasted a year or so, i think he just took it to the muffler shop to get it all done "right"
THe only reason I was looking into this was because I cannot afford a Intercooler piping kit ($300 or whatever) cause I would rather buy a wideband and get tuned properly, at least this time, turbo trial #3, should work out for a long ass time. Newly rebuilt engine, old pistons and rods, but new rings gaskets and seals! Rebuilt 14b in better shape than the last. An oil pressure gauge and a JRC 6" FMIC courtesy of Urbanrunner (and ralphy, albertans know what im talkin about)! These and alot more research, plus the fact that my friends and family dont believe in me doin the turbo thing, "you cant turbo a stock bottom end" I would normally say "well other peeps have had success, so why cant I?" And then they would flame me, but Ill show em!

Yeah I guess getting bends and welding them ur self would be better.....
