Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Question about fuel regulation during boost

I know hardly anything about boost, and im looking this up for a friend.

When boosting, I know there are different ways to increase fuel to the motor. Obvioulsly, bigger injectors are going to allow more fuel into the motor, but you need something to get more gas to the injectors. Ive heard about all kinds of different ways to do this. Fuel pressure regulaotors, fuel pressure risers, SAFC's, ect. What are the pros and cons of these different methods? and how do the operate?

    Very simple.

Using the FPR fine tunes your setup.
Using the FMU fucks up your setup.

      lol

depends what u r trying to achieve, low boost can get away with SAFC. if going for nice boost levels need some kind of management such as an ecu flashed for boost or nice expensive AEM Engine Management System

          FMU's are the risers, right?

To get more fuel to the injectors the best mod possible would be upgrading the fuel pump. You should also make sure the fuel filter is clean and performing up to par.

With just a reflashed ecu, 650cc or higher injectors, fuel pump, and FPR you could pretty easily work your way towards 400whp
