Quick question for those of you who have turboed cb7's. Was the turbo setup installed by you, or someone else?? If installed by yourself, or with a lil bit of help, what type of problems did u encounter during the installation process?? I'm tryin to get myself in the habit of repairing my own and tryin to get outta the habit of payin someone else for repairs. I do plan on installing my own setup, but jus a lil shaky bout doin it right now. Thx in advance for the feedback

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

My most difficult thing was coming up with cash to buy the parts that I wanted. Other than that do research on sites such as these and make sure not to believe everything you read, not everyone knows exactly what thier talking about and there are many ways to do things, not all right or wrong. Good luck. L8rTurbo H23a3 build has begun01-01-2019

Personally i think the project is rather easy. A little time consuming but nothing to difficult.
I know AccordR33 has an instal manual with pics that he made up himself. He's done multiple installs so i know its good info. I would say PM him about that and definitly do as much research as possible to prepare your self."Auto racing, bull fighting and mountain climbing are the only real sports....all others are games."

i did most of my own shit, umm u gotta have 2-3 hundred in the piggybank for just in case costs that u will encounter. umm some that werent my favorite is redrilling the dsm manifold. chargepipes are a bitch. oilpan tap is pretty easy and so is the injector and sparkplug install. my oil pressure and temperature gauges were a bitch too. first time i did everything it took about 2 weeks working fe nights a week, now i can take it apart and put it back together in a dayh23a3 cb7 turbo sold

My .02 cents. I do not think that this as hard as prodigymb made it seem. The DSM manifold...pwns like he said. Chargepipes are not all that hard. As long as you have the right tools.
I got all the tools I need so I can build whatever I need or do not need.Last edited by KillerCam282; 12-13-2005, 01:43 AM.
