From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

1st-3rd gear burnout on turbo f2201

I have a 91 accord dx, that i recently turbocharged. Took me ahile tuning it co'z this is my first time using eberdata software. Although, I'm a dsm specialist so I'm preety good in tuning a forced induction car.
We'll my main concern is now that the car is fully tuned, i couldn't get it to run regularlly without burning out the tires. I just let it boost by itself and keeps on burning all the way to 3rd gear. Like what I said, I've had my dsm eversince I started driving and it's all wheel drive. So even if the car has over 400whp under the hood, it never slipped once. So i get to enjoy the boost all the way. I know by experince the accord is outputting somewhere 250whp right know.
Does any of you guys know a fix for this. How about the lsd/h22 or h23 tranny. Does it fit the f22 block. I know a better tires will fix some of the problem but the best way to go is LSD. So if anybody can tell me if theres any aftermarket lsd out there for our f22 tranny or if we can bolt any prelude tranny. I don't go to the dyno to figure out my hp, I go to the track instead then calculate my hp. For me, dyno is always a perfect run, perfect wheather, etc. If they give you 250hp means in our car with its weight should hit 13.0 sec. But I bet you, you won't hit that, maybe somewhere around 13.5-14 you will. Co'z the fact that it burns out, so you already loosing the time. And I don't wanna use slicks eighther, it has to be fully streets.
So if we can bolt on any prelude jdm tranny I know it comes with LSD, let me know all the details. And I'm sorry for a long story, I'm just excited about my new project.

*By the way, you guys are awsome in this site, I just wanna thank you for all the support and effort you have made. God bless.

There is a factory H22 LSD, but it's hard to find. I believe there are two companies that make LSD's for F22/H23/H22. Whatever you do, don't buy the LSD kit from OBX. Just don't

maybe put a wooden block under the peddle so you cant floor it. I wish i had your problems.

heh...the h22 has shorter gears so putting that on would probably make you burnout in reverse and 5th...

slicks, lowering tirepressure? dont put suspension int he back so it is solid so there is no weight trasfer.

Even with my big ass 18's my tires slip if I floor it at like 40 in second gear and keep slipping up till about 50-55. Better tires will help some, but slicks are your best option. I have some slicks on the stock steelies from m/t. I haven't used them yet with the turbo setup, but back when I had nitrous they worked pretty well. If you use the stock steelies you can get some good slicks and have them mounted for maybe like $300 total. Just make sure you don't use them on the street unless you have a lot of cash because it tears them up really quickly.

Good suspension, and an LSD would help much. Open diffs transfer power to the wheel with less resistance thus it encourages burnouts.

some things i did and do to reduce* that problem
                    1. new suspension , struts and springs, bushings etc
                    2. i deflate tire pressure to 16-17 psi when i race
                    3. warm up the tires nicely

now htat it got really cold i do full burnouts in 2nd gear and my 17s on

and you say this cuz you have personal experience, or because you heard it was bad?

the OBX unit is good, you just have to fix a few things before you install it. ive heard good and bad from these units, but the bad comments always come from people that just installed it, so yea, if you go with them, you have to do a lil something to them, but after that, ive heard very good things, its even been compared to a quiafe.

but yea, get some good tires, get suspension, better clutch, if you dont have one already, and just feather the clutch man, get a feel for it, dont just drop it and stomp on the gas.

based on what I read on HondaTech about it, its a quality unit, which is as indestructible as a quaife, but there is no beveled edge on the inner part of the axle slpine. add a beveled edge there, and your good to go.

If you need an LSD the OBX would work fine, if not they have a lifetime warranty.

Maybe you should invest in a new clutch first, if you haven't done that. You may think your tires are spinning but it may be your clutch slipping if you haven't upgraded it.

i was told and actully read on this site that a thicker tire up frount instead of low pros do better with the buring out problem...(ill look for the post)...ive also heard of people replacing the 18s with the stock tires and wheels at the track since they didnt have slicks.....im not argueing at all jus passin on wat i heard in confusion
.....i can understand tho that the low pros are wider than the stockys witch would oviosly help
