Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

      i highly doubt that he will only charge u as little as he charged me, but he sure will give u a very good deal that nobody can touch. another thing from my experience not a lot of shops in our area would even f**k with what he did for me, they say go to junky and get new engine. what exactly do u want done with ur engine alb ?

      i believe they used OEM or OEM replacement. im not gonna push the car at all for a while until i have money again just in case it breaks. cuz midnite knows i got no $ right now lol, and this just hit me with 390 bux that i had to pull outta nowhere.

        yeah so i drove my car for a day and it started making a similar noise again , f**k. so its back at the lab getting torn apart again to see what went wrong now. i was pretty pissed last night but o well. the guy working on my car said i should just let him put a 3.2 6spd in there and leave it at that lol

          shit i man. i feel u. let us know whats wrong with it.
          see i don't want to run into the problems that u are in right now.
          so i was thinking of getting an engine for cheap in the junk jards then probably go forged internals. or at least make the weak points of the f22 stronger.... my friend who is a mechanic is going to help me find a good deal for the head work etc
          i want to have a realible 200wph-250whp. or if its too much to ask then i'll be happy with a realible boosted 230wph.

            well as of right now im prolly gonna get this one running on monday. order a new crank, rods, pistons, delta cam regrind, adjustable cam gear, 255 lph pump. go for 12 psi and delta guarantees 12-15% gain on setup so my goal is 300 wtq and like 265 whp.

            ps well the problems were my own fault, i didnt check the oil frequently enough, as well as over revved it sometimes so if u learn from my mistakes ull be aiite.

              ok heres the update on my car as of today. found an engine with 59,000 miles and a tranny with 80,000 on it. buying the engine today and tranny tommorow. projected up time is tuesday night. plans after that is the cam from my old block to delta for a turbo regrind, and fit a 3" dp from gsx because mine is way to small right now 2" lol. and then we shall see what numbers will look like then projected torque is 304 wtq from these two mods, i wanna see how accurate my calculation is.

                    yes ofcourse my friend you will be needed, as of right now i see no problems making our mid december tuning session by then my cam shall be in as well as the 3" dp. as far as prelude goes , manifols is bought and so is downpipe, sc61 turbo is getting purchased today. so we have bov, wg and ic piping left i think. also hopefully by time u come ill have my hks ssqv

                    dude since my car spent a lot of time on the lift in the past week lol, i noticed that my downpipe is crap, it is like 2" in diameter. i never realized ti was that samll cuz it did the job. but 3" will widen my power band as well as increase it. i see no problem getting 12-18 whp/wtq gaining 1" diamter in dowpipe as well as much faster spool. as far as cam goes, delta pretty much guaranteed at least 15% wheel gain of whatever #s i put down without the cam. so here is my math
                    247 troque now + 15 dp = 262 x 1.15 = 301 wtq which would make me a happy camper.

                          hmm im game lol on 11 psi i really think i could do it if ofcourse Delta didnt BS me with their numbers, yeah wikked thats a safe bet lol, his turbo is bigger then mine . but yeah they are goals not hopes . antoine how is neptune different from uber and crome btw? sh*t if i dont do 300 torque ill spray something on the intercooler,lol either co2 or nitrous.

                            its not that why im saying mrx..

                            simply put.. the man knows how to extract power from cb7.. and he has the upper hand with tuning.. although he will tune ur car.. it isnt as extensive (about a years worth of tuning) as his is.. his tuning is backtracking.. always improving on the last.. never starting over.. which is why this nigerian looking small guy has more than doubled stock whp.. tuning just gives me that funny feeling lol

                              ... thats all true, and that is also why i want him to come and tune my car. btw i have more then double whp then stock too i will attmept to learn when he comes up. also wikked and mrx what do u guys think of the AEM wideband gauge ?

                                rather just buy the zeitronix wideband and use a laptop.. ur gonna be tuned on zietronix and it uses a different type of o2 sensor.. it doesnt read in inclines like .020v .021v its all wacked so it makes it hard to compare to others..

                                i believe thats what is said

                                if u put the aem wb gauge and the zeitronix on the same car.. they would not read exactly the same.. slight difference.. nothing extreme.. but.. wouldnt want u worrying if the gauge is off a bit but ur car in reality is fine.. havent brushed up on that... toine correct me where i stand..
