If two engines make the same power originally, but they're TOTALLY different displacements/kinds of engines would they use the same turbo and make the same power? From what I understand it's all about airflow and the pressure ratio, right?

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

(acclipseh23 - I've always had only the t3/t04e turbo...the 450's are the only thing thats DSM on me)
Is there a compressor map you can show us?
That turbo may be riding along the surge line with this motor. It may not even get into a good efficiency range without high revving and pushing high psi...so basically...need more infoKnowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word

The reason why the injectors were not picked for that turbo is because I feel that with proper tuning I can get away with 1000cc injectors and keep them for a larger turbo in the future. And lets not mention, I have my turbo cams already...
maybe i'm confused, but what does any of this have to do with what i said?
never did i say anything that disagreed with your previous post.

I also killed the AC and PS so I had extra room. I think 2.5 is fine but if you run all the piping on the passanger side, use 2" from the turbo going to the IC and 2.5 from the IC to the TB. That way you have some space .
And i think i'm going to do like you said for the charge pipe, turbo to fmic 2" and fmic to TB 2.5"

in term of trim size, how big is the dsm 16g? .42/.48?
i know there is the small 16g and the big 16g...

A big 16g (17c) can do it easily. I was originally going to use one for my stage 2 build. Instead tho, I figured for something a bit more extreme. I also think if you go bigger that a big 16g, go with 2.5 diameter charge piping all the way. Get a IC with a good CFM rating. Also, look for an IC with both inlet and outlets on the same side. Makes life easier for you.
Also since you are a HMT guy, an exhaust housing upgrade will work wonders on the 17c.
