Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

damn man, this sounds like a sweet ass build, but will the t04b be a lil too big for the old 2.2l? I right now have a ihi rhb6 turbo on mine (bigger then a t3) and she doesnt start making positive pressure until after about 4k...and a to4b is even bigger then that! But dude def props!! keep us posted!

Hell yeah pics will be coming. I will keep you guys posted. I am not sure when I can start working on the F22a1. It rained for the past 2 days here. Hopefully tommorrow will show some change.

Also, anyone got an H23 head they are willing to part with. PM me with a price. Bare head, BTW.

That's gonna be one nice setup! Just curious why you're chosing AEM EMS instead of the ol' modded ECU's?

          My Accord History:

            Reasons:
            1: I had it before.
            2. The setup will go through stages so i figured that ecu vs, burning chips every so often.
            3. It comes with everything you need to tune it yourself.

            PROJECT HOMEBREW OFFICIALLY BEGAN!!!

I started clearing off the old engine today. I realized a few things:
            1. This engine was on its way out anyway.
            2. Damn there is sludge all over this thing
            3. This will be the most fun I ever had during a buildup.

I got some go already...Gtech dyno 231whp @ 10psi biotch!!! I didnt have time to officially dyno the car yet...

Those damn head studs are monsters...I tried to remove them in order, but that isn't going to work out. Impact gun time.

Did I mention there was sludge all over the engine, like even the timing area...yeah this block was overdue for a rebuild. Well its getting a little more than it bargained for...

Well hopefully I will be down to the bare block by today. The first thing i hope to order are these Darton sleeves. They come with bores to support 87mm pistons (aka H22 pistons). So I will have a nice bump in displacement and torque.

Pics coming soon...but with winter coming up I think I got to move this engine to a warmer place...

I need to slightly mod the Charge pipes. The BOV, And SP are staying. Everything else is going to have a much bigger replacement.

I'm gonna resleeve this engine my damn self too!! I got the tool to remove engine sleeves. Looking at the trend with this engine, I can tell this is going to be a little tough to get them out and in.

I saw the Darton F22 sleeves for just under 700, so I will be picking those up soon.

You may be able to get it at most Auto stores like autozone. My dad just had one lying around from the mustang... It looks like it will work for my project...unless those sleeves are like really pressed in there.

Thanks for the luck. So far the luck has eluded me. I hope today fares better in trying to remove the head. Its so much easier when the engine is already in the car.

I just checked ebay they only have the ones for the diesels. I watched a Trucks! tv show where Stacy used it on a diesel engine too. It looked very easy. I am not sure how I will fare on my own engine with that tool.

Edit...Dad said I may need to send it out to a machine shop. He thinks they are pressed in. I will find out. Then again its open deck? I will find out.

Dammit, i just read the auction they said it needs to be pressed in my by a CNC/Mille machine. So there is 1300 right there...ah well. Money in the bank is what I like to call these kinds of mods.
