Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Rear mount turbo

Does anyone have any experience with a rear mount turbo kit?
I have seen it for V8 and V6 applications in Camaro and so on.
I like to build a set for my 91 F20 engine.

    Cheers,

    Pj

you mean they mount their turbo's back by the rear axle right??? i've seen some on camaro's but not on accords. the only reason they do this on camaros is because they have no engine room to fit a manifold and turbo.

our accord's how ever can fit a turbo manifold and turbo in our engine bay, so we dont need to do that.

if your f20 has the same port design as our f22a1 fuel injected, then u could do a DSM setup. for me info on a DSM setup, check out hondasociety.com or honda-tech.com

I've seen camaro's with the turbo mounted under the hood.
I also have the problem that my car is equipped with carb rather then fuel injection. So i'll need to modify the carb or try to fit it with an other carb that can be built for a blow thru set up.
I already built a chev 267 V8 blow thru setup and it cranks out 350 horses @ 5000 rpm
