From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    where to find turbo

    can anyone help me find a site for a good t3/t4 turbo for a decent price? and i was also wondering if the turbos on ebay by ssautochrome are good or if its not a good idea to find a turbo there?

    Do not i repeat dont go to ebay some people go and sell crap turbos there. I say if your gonna get a turbo get one brand new. I went to phenix turbo.com and ask for ken. Tell him mike from NYC sent you.

      WiredSpeedLab is a good source and excellent prices. You also may try Camp 1320 . Good luck!

          If you do ebay, be sure you rebuild whatever you get. A rebuilt ebay turbo is just fine for a budget project, as long as the housings are in decent shape! I saw a few with cracked exhaust housings on there. While those will still work, it's best not to start with that!

            but what if the auction says the the turbo is brand new in box? if they sold you a rebuilt one that would be false advertising. then you could sue there company. am i right? and whats wrong with ebay. everything i've bought from ebay, has been good. and i've bought alot of things off there. does anyone on this site have a turbo they bout from ebay. if so some feedback would do great.
            Boosted H22...Underway....Getting parts, and gaining knowledge....first thing to do is diy body work, and paint....H22 Swap should be doen by the end of this month if all goes right...

              i agree, theyre based out of Waco TX and Ive heard great things about them. My turbo was rebuilt and machine balanced from them, I'll let u know how she boosts
