is f22a6 going to work with the po6 ecu and uberdata setup? or do i need an a1 mani cuz i really dont wanan fuck with changing it.

the ECU is compatable. but the p06 doesnt have IAB control. so your runners will not work. just disconnect the vacuum line and they will stay open all the time

Yet another incorrect IAB post.
I was pretty sure you said that just leaving them open didn't hurt low end Fizzbob. At least that is what you said in our little discussion on IABs. Changing your story, eh?
Regardless.
If you want to hook the secondaries up directly to the IM you may do so. But please be advised. They will open any time you go WOT or are under positive manifold pressure (i.e. under boost) regardless of RPM. If you don't have the A6 ECU to set up with Uberdata, then I would suggest using the secondary hi power duct soleniod for your stock intake system. It is the one that was included with the little black box that bolted to the fender near your battery. It will allow them to open at 3500 RPM which is better than any time you go to WOT. It is actually not discernible from when the A6 ECU opens them at 4800.
Midnight. There are two vacuum lines that work the IABs. One runs from the manifold to the solenoid. That is usually what the extra little vacuum nipple below the brake booster connection is for. The second line runs straight from the solenoid to the diaphragm for the IABs. I will have to look at my setup to see which one is at the filter end of the solenoid and which is at the other end. If anyone else knows off hand, that would be great. Otherwise, give me a day or so, and I will look and then repost.

-port under brakebooster port to the top port on the soleniod
- bottom port on the solenoid to the diaphragm

Hey Midnight,
I looked at the setup and there are 3 lines. The line from the manifold goes to the open port on the vacuum box. The 2nd line goes from the vacuum box to the solenoid port farthest from the little round solenoid filter. The 3rd line runs from the solenoid port closest to the filter, up to the IAB diaphragm.
I guess the purpose of that box must be to slow the release of vacuum pressure so the diaphragm opens gradually instead of suddenly.
Anyway, the solenoid always allows vacuum, so as soon as you close the throttle and go back to vacuum in the IM the secondaries will close, and then the solenoid will re-open when told to by the ECU in order to re-release the vacuum.
Sorry, not preaching to the choir, everybody knows that you know as much about engines as anyone on the sight, I am just rambling aloud to myself!
