Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    manifold question

I was looking for turbos and parts on ebay, and I came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742
I was wondering if it would fit. To me it looks like it goes out about the same distance as a 2g manifold. I'm not sure about the dump pipe, but they have it with and without that anyway. What do ya'll think about it?

it looks like the ssautochrome one and as far as ive read about them, theyre not very good. what kind of setup are you looking for? if its nothing drastic why not just go with the 2g manifold from a dsm.

This one is quite a bit different than the ssautochrome one. My plans are quite drastic(look at my members ride thread) so I'm thinking the 2g manifold will be a bottleneck. It is TIG welded, and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

true but most likely that warranty will be voided once you re-drill the holes to bolt up onto your block. most warranties will not cover alterations which is what you have to do to fit it in your cb7. email them first and find out if there warranty will cover re-drilling of the flange.

Hmmm, yeah good point. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the dsm manifold so I can see how this compares?

as i've suggested b4 have the company weld an f22 flange onto the manifold
