Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    need help with something..

    If I was gonna build my f22a6 for turbo...what would i need? i know im probably the 50th person to ask this but i really wanna do this...i was reading about getting a jdm f22b head (DOHC) to put on it so it will handle boost better....but for the internals i'd like to know besides low compression pistons what i would need...if anybody would help i'd really appreciate it...im only gonna run like 8-10 pounds of boost..thanks

    you already have low compression, run the stock block

    if you swap the head, it will help it flow better

      but i have a grip of miles on the motor...should i just replace the pistons? i mean what about piston rings and retainers and all that shit

            dude why would you want to spend a lot of money on something if you don't even know what they are??? and he could have simply done a search, and found what he was looking for. and while he was looking for it he might have learned a little bit about the turbo process as well...

              What is your current mileage? Have you done a compression check? Are you burning any oil?

                im not burning any oil...i just seafoamed my car and its running like a champ...185k on the engine
