Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

i had to send my rods to be resized since the first time i put my engine together it was locked up and since eagle CLAIMED they dont make rods wrong and they sold hundreds with no issues i had to hook em up with my machine shop to prove them wrong... crank was good they just polished it up a lil and resized the rods so ill be heading out to pick them up on thursday and begin my build... pics and updates to come.....

It's looking like a serious build so far. It will be pretty sweet to see what this thing can do with a proper turbo and good tuning.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

so this is where i got in about 10 hours of hard work.. while im posting up pics and "since i just learned to put em up" ill put one up of the new rod with the new bearing that didnt fit because the BIG END " bore" wasnt machined properly... this is the the same pic i sent the manufacturer who CLAIMED THEY DONT make wrong rods and have sold hundreds with no call backs or complaints."i dont know how they couldnt get any callbacks or complaints considering thed rods DONT FIT"period"!!!!!!! you cant make em fit unless they get re machined which btw is what i ended up doing......

notice the light in between the rod and the straight edge..... um tell me how those bearings woulda fit.... they're fixed now thankfully and the crank turns beautifully"almost effortlessly" smooth as a babys butt.
