From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

          i dont think its is.....
told Wikked for the las 2-3 weeks ive been burn oil like its nuffin....

i just changed my oil last weekend and by tuesday it was below the low point on the dip stick, plus i have chatter at teh bottom end sound like my rods are shot also. i think its the 3rd cylinder...
i havent done a compression test just yet but i pulled the wires off one by one, and when i did the number 3 wire it sounded crazy....also i removed my spark plug wires and when i got to number 3 and 4......they were already lose and i mean i didnt even have to use the socket wrench

but im not to upset bout it, just that i cant hit the track this year.......
im trying to decide whether to get some performance pistons, rings and rods and see if im allowed to attempt a rebuild at school....or better yet, save to send a bottom end out to golden eagle and have to build the bottom in and sleeves to handle 25+psi (i think i might do that), might take longer to do but it'll be worth it

also for the lag....yes a built NA would take a turbo off the line
but as far as compare to my stock cb7.... the lags not noticeable. i still ran a 0-60mph in under 6 seconds (with the fucked up rods and all....lol) yes i was still press to drive the car.....

damn track opens today too......... damn.............

well wait.. when u pull cylinder number 3 spark plug.. does it sound crazy.. or does it do nothing??? if theres a cylinder with almost no compression.. when u remove the spark plug wire it should make no difference.. the motor shouldnt even feel it...

do me a favor... and do this 1 by 1... remove the spark plug on each cylinder.. with the other 3 remaining.. and start the car.. see if u get a nice flow of coolant coming out of the spark plug hole.. if not keep going and if u pass all 4 without it.. then it has nothing to do with the headgasket like i told u earlier... (which i still believe it COULD be one of the problems)

remove ur oil cap... and look in.. does the oil look wierd at all?? im just trying to rule out that its ur headgasket... secondly are u spitting anything out of ur exhaust....??

meh.. sad to see it go.. was fun thou ey?

nothing comes out the exhaust also i removed the valve cover and the smoke was coming out the lil ports on side of the head bolts.

but ill do the test and let u know

do this no oil in the coolant or coolant on the oil dipstick. start the car up and let it idle for awhile then while the car is running take the oil cap off and see the oil cap and look under it on the inside if you see any, white shit well there you go coolant in the oil.

                    done all that...

thing with that is i changed my HG like 2 weeks ago ( had coolant spilling over into the over flow tank), once i change it and brought and installed new head bolts it stop.
also tried the test, no coolant in spark plug area.

i let the car run for like 20 minutes a while ago, im about to go back out and change my oil level to see how much i lost if the blow bys from oil leaking pass my pistons.

also my oil pressures been low for a while, it started to get low when i was runing nitrous, i say it droped to 47psi....then like 4 weeks ago it droped to 43psi, now whne it fully warms up it drops to 39psi. pretty sure im losing oil somewhere where its not suppose to be and its not in the coolant.
i also remove the rad. cap and watch the coolant flow for 15min. moved along fine, also perfect color.

also the blow bys not as bad as it was 2 days ago... dont knwo what the hell that indicates but just thought i share that also.

but all in all im looking forward to a built stronger bottom end.... can we say 360 or whatever to the wheels.....
not looking foward to the down time tho

                      also Wikked....
that wierd noise i told u i heard when i pulled the wires....

it was an inscrease of spark at the coil (msd blaster coil).
it was noticable do it being dark outside. i just pulled each one again and ever wire i pulled increase the spark at teh coil but when i pulled the 3rd wire it did nuffin

so when u pulled the third wire it did nuffin??? lol.. thats ur dead cylinder compression wise i bet.. do a compresion test.. 10 buxs says thats where ur problem is..

theory time: ok.. so when u pulled 1-2-4 u got a higher response from the coil?? ur not getting more spark at the coil..reverse that.. the coil is working harder.. is my opinion.. or along those lines anyway.. if the cylinder is already dead.. even thou its getting spark/fuel/air.. if it has a severe lose of compression.. it wont matter if u remove the spark plug wire or not..
this happend to me.. this is how i found out it was headgasket related for me.. my situation was cyl 2.. i went 4-3-2-1.. and ended up going back to 2.. when i pulled that plug wire.. the motors tone/vibration didnt change at all.. so i knew this cylinder wasnt firing or running right.. (then i did the "Test" i told u to do and good enough the coolant wouldnt let it fire)

anyway.. give it a compression test.. i have my feeling that cylinder is ur problem..
