From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Front Mount Intercooler Help!

Yesterday I finished up installing my OEM front bumper cover with 98 Accord Coupe Mugen Lip, everything was going as planed until my side-mount intercooler got in the way of the OEM bumper. It used to fit without a problem because I had the evo 3 front, and clearence wasnt an issue. But now with the OEM front its a lot closer to the body and the intercooler wont fit. Now im forced to relocate the intercooler to the front in front of the radiator, it looks like it will definetly fit but in order to fit it infront of the radiator I need to remove the stuff in in front of the radiator, it looks like the air conditioning coils.
My question is can I remove these to install the intercooler, or is there another way to fit it in front. Thanks guys -Snooze

if they are coils surrounding a pipe then it is the power steering cooler.

if they are fins and bars that look like a radiator then that would be the air conditioning condenser

the power steering cooler can be removed and the lines looped, that is what i have done with my coupe so my intercooler will fit behind the bumper easier and more flat.

had to do this as well...depending on intercooler size might need to trim reinforcement aswell....side note to quaidum did the looping give you any problems with PS...

no not yet except for a little leak that was b/c the lines were not tightened down completely(basically just bypassed the cooler)

never been to cali but if they pull you over for an intercooler being on the front of your car(unless it blocks the front plates) then damn that sucks
