Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

that is a repost from hell. but also, the ssautochrome manifolds like that are for D and B series engines. the collector is shitty, instead of having the runners form the collector, they joini them with another piece of steel. that's why they have a problem breaking in those cars. not to mention the fact that people who use their downpipes are idiots because they are solid piping, with no flex in them. this also causes them to crack. my ssauto dsm manifold has held up fine, with no problems.

also, read the whole post on that, because the guys who broke it, cut it and turned it so the turbo they were running wouldn't hit the block. they welded it back on there shitty and it broke.

i agree. looks like it was rewelded and like most people, that person did not have a flex section on the downpipe.

90boostdaccord--how does the turbo fit with the SSauto turbo manifold for the DSM? are u using a Mitsubishi turbo or a t3/t4?

it fits perfect. in almost the exact location one would with the stock DSM manifold. i'm using a 60 trim t3, and ran into a few issues with the compressor housing and my fan shroud. i didn't clock it enough, and the fan doesn't spin now. you could either clock it and cut the shroud, or buy a slim fan.

you still have to redrill the bolt holes too.
