Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Turbo with A/C & P/S

Hey guys I need some help?

I need some ideas on how to place a Turbo without removing the P/S or the A/C.

Would it be possible to put P/S and A/C on an electric belt and relocate them?
Are there any products you guys would reccomend?

I know I would need to fabricate new piping and thats ok so any ideas are welcome.

as u can see with a log manifold, you got more space so that you could keep a/c. with tubular manifolds, its a pain to get everything fabricated to fit

Its all about your manifold. There are certian turbo manifolds that will allow you to run both.

Instructions on how to custom fab an exhaust mani to retain a/c and p/s.

                      1. Know how to weld.
                      2. Take lots of measurements and do a couple of mockups.
                      3. Build manifold from specs found in step 2.

That should just about cover it.

Anything you do will almost certainly have to be custom. It can be done, but as everyone has said, a standard mani probably won't cut it.

^ I agree. Research outside of the forums is never a bad idea either. You probably won't find any threads on there with names like "what materials to use for a custom turbo manifold" *lol* but I would imagine that Da Google would know. He is all powerful and all knowing But you should also know that there is definitely a difference between knowing what type of material to use and actually building a manifold. But at least you can go to someone and know exactly what you want them to make for you.

Aren't there some cars with the turbo underneath and in the middle of the car?
