Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Ok so I took a gamble on getting some used 4g63 stroker pistons off ebay and lost. The wrist pins had considerable wear on them and the wrist pin to piston clearance is no where near what it needed to be. also the piston to cylinder clearance would have been .005" once the block was honed back round.
SO,
I am going to suck it up and get bran new wisco 4g63 stroker pistons that are .5 mm over sized. This is costing me more $$ than I have to spend but it will be worth it to have a powerful, reliable motor.spin city

I got my money back on the pistons! the guy gave me no problems whatso ever. I also got my blueprint racing rods in! They look excellent! I got them for $200 and they have only about 10 miles on them. check em out! http://www.blueprintracing.com/shopexd.asp?id=1230
I am going to order my pistons tomorrow.

Fuck!
The block and the main caps do not match. The mains have to be from a different motor! I was measuring the mains so I could order my bearings and check for roundness. The centerline location is different for the block and the mains and it is way out of round!
I'm going to half to align hone the mains to fix this.
There goes more money and time into this dam motor!spin city
