Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

go here , it's a sticky I wrote a little while ago on the accord engines. You'll find the specs there. And DON'T turbo an h22 without dropping the compression under 10.0:1., You'll probably blow your engine otherwise.

        Engine: H22A7
        Year: 97-01
        Trim: Accord TypeR
        Hp: 220
        Tq: 163
        Displacement: 2157cc
        Compression: 11.0:1
        Valvetrain: DOHC, VTEC

The other might be 11.0:1 also, but I don't think it is.

thats not true just run low boost nomore than 7psi thats all and make sure its well tuned by hondata or aem ems no hack afc shit and youll be fine . Remember its not the engine that causes shit to break its tuner and driver.

very well put. BTW, compression on stock USDM is 10.2:1 or 10.4. i know for sure JDM is 10.6:1. type-s and type-r are 11.0:1 anyway, stock bottom end, 5-8 pounds of boost, and good tuning= boosted h22!!!
