Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

He wasn't joking when he said that they're scientists over at Bisimoto lol. He has a degree in chemical engineering or whatever it is and a couple of other things I think. He went to school for some complicated shit and is using that in his engines. A civic wagon with 700hp though lol. Talk about a sleeper. Take that shit to the strip and make some money.

Shouldn't be too hard. I'm just wondering why he's not pushing for more.
Speed Factory did 609whp(same dyno as Bisi's) with stock sleeves and cast pistons AND a stock cam. It blew up after doing a few mid 10 sec. runs. The cast pistons just couldn't handle it.
I wonder what turbo he's going to use and who the next retailer he's going to pick up is gonna be. I'm thinking Borg Warner, since they seem to be pretty big right now.
I think there is one other guy that has done 700whp on a D. Tell him to go for 800!

I don't see how any turbo car wouldn't be streetable, as long as they don't have overly huge cams.
Streetable to me means you can drive the car from light to light without any hassles. Doesn't necessarily mean it requires traction because if that were the case, anything above 300whp isn't streetable in 1st or 2nd during wot.
The challenge here is going to be making the power with pump gas. Maybe he means e85?

700hp streetable would be a great feat. a 1.6 liter single cam turbo car making those numbers with street reliability is VERY impressive. Bisimoto is a GENIUS, and I am not just talking engine building. His intelligence goes past that and deep into science, math, etc. And the fact that he also works to make impressive numbers out of the less popular honda engines shows he is very dedicated to what he does and sets out to make advances is tuning that greatly surpasses others' skills. I am eager to see this setup when it is finished and I applaud Bisi for his work.Last edited by Pazzword JDM; 09-11-2009, 08:17 PM.
