Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Turbo H22

Im sure this question has been asked time and again, so i browsed the forum and i couldn't find the answer. But, Is it possible to use a DSM turbo set up from 1gen eclipse on a H22 swap. I didnt know if it was possible or not without some major fabrications because i hear the H22 swap is a pretty tight squeeze into the engine bay of our cb7s. Im no wise guy when it comes to FI so please enlighten me.

its actually been done b4 on homemadeturbo.com. The guy was a douche and completely hacked the manifold up. Only like 3 bolt holes were being used and the test for strength was his little brother jumping up and down on the manifold. It was such a hack job that even tho it did fit and work i would never advise something like that. It seriously looked DANGEROUS and the guy has since disappeared.

And also he blew up his motor he hacked it up and got hacked when his engine hacked him back u got it jack. Just when you do a setup just dont go cheap just go for conservativeness and reliability and you should be straight and make sure its tuned by someone who knows wtf they are doing.

And dont be on some oh let me put this on now and drive it for a week your gonna want to run that car as soon as someone heres that blow off valve so forget about it put the kit on yourself and let the shop tune it for you. Also be sure to do a compression and leakdown on it to make sure you wanna pursue it if you dont wanna rebuild or rebuild and get it over with and strenghtin it to handle the punishment nomore than 7psi and you should be straight and resist the urge to turn up the boost.
