Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Different ECU for auto or manual?

Ive got a chipped and tuned P06 I bought for my Sedan .. (manual)

I was thinking about switching chassis and swapping everything over to my 92 Wagon EX-R .... but the wagon is automatic.... Does the ECU control anything on the transmission, or is that all in the TCU?

Also ... thoughts on putting in a SE TCU so I can have "sport more" or is it a completly different wiring harness.

Depends on what program the ecu is running. There are only two that I've ever had work on an auto and one i still consider a fluke.

The ecu communicates with the tcu to answer your question

      Mines got Crome on it.

So basically I need to do the manual swap BEFORE I boost it. Bummer. I was looking forward to turbo auto status.

You can do it with uberdata 1.66. There was one crome map I had that somehow worked with h22's as well
